Goodwin Hotel - Downtown Hartford, CT
Crest Mechanical Services was hired to help design and install a new heating and cooling plant for the historic Goodwin Hotel in downtown Hartford. Crest worked with the owner and mechanical engineer to develop an efficient yet cost effective heating and cooling solution for the building. The building owners wanted to be independent from the Hartford City utility loop, so Crest installed new high efficiency gas boilers, high efficiency air cooled chillers, new pumps, heat exchangers, domestic water storage tanks, and a DDC control system. The new systems allowed the hotel to be free from costly city HVAC utility expenses while providing the required environmental comfort that is needed in a luxury hotel.
Wadsworth Athenium Art Storage Facility - Hartford, CT
Crest Was contracted by a local general contractor to perform the HVAC Renovation for the Wadsworth Athenium Museum art storage facility in downtown Hartford.
Work included new modular Air handling units, HVAC energy management system upgrades, humidification systems, steam & hot water piping, ductwork and critical cooling equipment.
High Rise Residential Apartment Building - Waterbury, CT
Crest was contracted to install the HVAC and Plumbing installations at a new high-rise apartment building in downtown Waterbury, CT.
Work included new high efficiency Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) HVAC systems, a new high efficiency plumbing hot water plant, piping, ductwork and controls.
Downtown Hartford Insurance Company - Office Renovation
Crest was contracted with the renovation of over 20,000 square feet of office space for a major downtown Hartford insurance company.
Work included new HVAC VAV systems, Data Room Cooling units, ductwork, plumbing fixtures, piping, steam radiation, fire sprinkler work and temperature controls.
Hartford Healthcare Air Handler Replacement
Crest Mechanical installed a new Modular Air Handling unit, built in place to accommodate a critical healthcare facility.
Work included new ductwork, hot water and chilled water piping, an ultraviolet hospital-grade air filtration system, and associated HVAC controls.
